The key functionalities of Mangold VideoSyncPro Studio are:
oMulti-Video-Recording: Simultaneous recording of multiple audio and video signals in the international H.264 compression format. Those videos can be used outside of VideoSyncPro Studio as they are.
oReplay: Playback of all videos from a previous recording session simultaneously.
oCamera Control: Software-based control of compatible PTZ cameras (pan/tilt/zoom) using your mouse. The corresponding controls automatically appear whenever such functionality is detected.
oRecording templates: Predefine specific combinations of audio and video sources in separate scenarios, including study relevant camera-position presets.
oCustomized GUI: Position all preview and important dashboard dashboard panels to your liking and across multiple monitors and save their position in a template. The latest layout template is automatically applied to each new session.
oSynchronization Signals: Send synchronization signals to third-party recording systems like e.g. MindWare, Brain Products or Thought Technology, at the start and the end of each recording.
oScripting: To simplify the daily use for the vast amount of possible settings and functions, combine predefined separate steps into a single script that appears as a single button in the Remote Observer.
oUDP-Control: VideoSyncPros Studio can receive UDP commands, which allows full control of the recording features from another system.
oRole-based operation: Simple operation through different views for less experienced users and experts. Per user-role, you can display or hide different functions in the program, to protect settings from accidental changes and to make it easier for inexperienced users.
Optional Functionalities
oPush-To-Talk: Communicate from the control room with the participants in the observation room. Also referred to as 'Voice-of-God'.
oObservation Marker: Allows you to log observational marker (either live or during replay) you can use for instant debriefing.
oSplit-Screen Recording: This Scenario-based option can record up to four video sources into a single, split-screen video file.
oStudio Recording Mode: This Scenario related option enable the alternate recording of multiple sources into a single video feed.
oHighlight Videos: Create a Marker-based edited compilation of your recorded session using our Highlight Movie Creator.
oRemote Observation: Control the start and end of the recording, position the cameras to predefined positions, and log observation markers from a portable device running the Mangold Remote Observer (Windows or Android).
oViewing Room Facilities: In combination with our Mangold Multimedia Player, it is possible to send live video streams as well as recorded video streams from the VideoSyncPro recording station to other network nodes running our Multimedia Player. This allows you to send live images to a viewing room or distribute recorded sessions for instand feedback to multiple monitors in your debriefing room.
oFull PoE-Control: In combination with a Netgear Managed Switch you can switch your network devices on and off from within VideoSyncPro Studio.
oMedia Screens: It is possible to present individual media during a recording session to predefined, browser-based media screens. This functionality is based on a local web server that is part of the VideoSyncPro Studio installer.
oChecklists: This very flexible feature allows you to collect Checklist information from multiple observers during a session. The Checklists are browser-based and therefor can be easily accessed over the network by multiple observer.
oMedia Database - Present images or documents over the network to any device with a modern browser, directly from within VideoSyncPro Studio.
oMindware Edition - Per default, Mindware Technologies sells a VSP Recoding Only license for the integration with their Equipment. This version lacks most of the key features mentioned before, it just records the configured sources, initiated by UDP commands.
Upgrading to a full featured VSP is possible while keeping the integration.
