VideoSyncPro Studio offers many features, but usually, only a few of these available features are important to you during day to day operation.
Creating a personal dashboard, like described in Video Layout, with all panels and states in their preferred position and condition makes operating the system even easier:
oUndock, position, and re-size the required dashboard panels to your liking.
oSpread preview panels over multiple monitors, and return to that view automatically.
oUse different layouts for Recoding and Replay/Debriefing sessions.
Save Customized GUI
▪Log on as a Lab Manager, in order to save the changes to the scenario.
▪Position all relevant panels and preview windows to you needs.
▪Select Save current layout... from the Window-Layout menu.
▪The pre-assigned layout name matches the name of the scenario:
▪Name your current window-layout.
▪Save and close your current session.
From now on, each new session - based on the current scenario- automatically reopens all windows and panels in the save position.
Note: In case you did spread your windows over multiple monitors, the save layout can only be applied if all monitors are still connected in the same way.
You can save multiple GUI-layouts, so it is easy to switch between preferred live-recording and preview layouts.
Restore Customized GUI
The last used window-Layout is stored per Szenario, but you can also apply a specific, previously stored, window layout manually:
▪Previously stored window layout can be selected in the Window-Layout menu.
Example of a personalized Window-Layout:
The Most important panels are positioned underneath one source panel. The other camera is displayed on another monitor. All positions and states are stored in the window-layout.
Location of Window Layout Settings
The window layout settings are stored per Scenario and separately for recording and debriefing.
Both sub folders are located here:
C:\Users\Public\Documents\Mangold VideoSyncPro Studio Data\Scripts
Depending on the current mode, the layout definition is stored inside the Recoding or the Debriefing folder.
Per Scenario, a folder exists and inside
Note: Which layout was used last for what scenario is save in the Windows Registry.
