These Audio/Video settings are usually set once by the administrator.
Axis Devices
To locate any kind of Axis IP devices in the network, click Axis IP Utility to open the corresponding Axis tool.
This utility also allows you to access devices that have IP numbers from another IP range.
If VSP cannot find the cameras, but the Axis IP Utility can, verify the local IP number for the build-in Ethernet connection of your computer, to which the dedicated Mangold-Camera-Network should be connected.
It should per default be set to 192.168.0.1. If the listed cameras have IP-number like 192.168.0.x and VSP cannot find them, the network adapter of your computer has most likely been altered.
Further details about the correct setup can be found in the chapter Installation.
Network Transmission
If your setup includes a separate viewing room, this option allows you to not only watch the live video stream but also to watch the replay of previously recorded sessions over the network. Using either the Remote Observer or the Mangold Multimedia Player on special viewing room stations.
▪Select the option Allow media network transmission to be able to watch recorded videos over the network.
IMPORTANT: This option requires a lot additional CPU capacity. Make sure your computer is able to handle the workload. Only activate this option if you really need it.
Data Security
To rule out any data manipulation, VideoSyncPro Studio offers the Check authenticity of recordings option. It displays a validation icon that changes the moment the original recording has bee edited.
