IMPORTANT: This setting is ONLY AVAILABLE when logged in as an Administrator.
The audit trail is a user activity log file.
It contains a chronological set of records labeled with date and time, containing the history and detailed information about the user's actions in VideoSyncPro Studio.
▪Go to Settings - Audit Trail to activate and/or examine the audit trail:
▪Select the option Enable audit trail to activate this functionality.
▪Confirm your settings with OK.
From now on, all user activity is logged in the audit trail.
▪Click Show Audit trail to examine the collected information.
Each record contains: time stamp, user name, type of activity (creating a video recording, opening a session for viewing, deleting recorded data, etc.) and additional parameters for reconstructing the event:
The audit trail data file is digitally signed, so any unauthorized changes are detected immediately.
Only a user with administrator rights has access to the contents and settings of the audit trail.
The retention period of the audit trail is up to the client and can be set to comply with the organization’s regulations.
