The AI-based auto-transcription routine creates sentence-based Events.
How well this works. largely depends on the continuity of speech-speed. During a monolog, it will happen that a sentence is plit over two or more events. Even if the punctuation is correctly!
Splitting up a sentence makes the timing more accurate, but if you are analyzing sentences, it might disturb your analysis. Merging certain Events that are in-fact a single sentence is a manual job.
For example, the three selecte Events are in fact one sentence:
To merge the information to a single Event, proceed as follows:
▪Cut or copy the second part of the sentence and paste it behind the first part.
▪Cut or copy the next part of the sentence and part it behind the now extended content of the first line:
When all parts of the sentence are combined:
▪Double-Click on the End-Time of the Event of the last sentence part.
▪Drag & Drop the time from the Timer on the End Time the first Event that now holds the complete sentence:
▪Delete the (now empty) Events that are now no longer needed.
