Merge split sentences

The AI-based auto-transcription routine creates sentence-based Events.

How well this works. largely depends on the continuity of speech-speed. During a monolog, it will happen that a sentence is plit over two or more events. Even if the punctuation is correctly!

Splitting up a sentence makes the timing more accurate, but if you are analyzing sentences, it might disturb your analysis. Merging certain Events that are in-fact a single sentence is a manual job.

For example, the three selecte Events are in fact one sentence:

Whisper_MergeEvents

To merge the information to a single Event, proceed as follows:

Cut or copy the second part of the sentence and paste it behind the first part.

Cut or copy the next part of the sentence and part it behind the now extended content of the first line:

Whisper_MergeEvents-2

When all parts of the sentence are combined:

Double-Click on the End-Time of the Event of the last sentence part.

Drag & Drop the time from the Timer on the End Time the first Event that now holds the complete sentence:

Whisper_MergeEvents-3

Delete the (now empty) Events that are now no longer needed.
