Installation of INTERACT > INTERACT for Windows > Latest Version of Mangold Software

Note: Since INTERACT 14, INTERACT automatically checks for updates, IF you have a valid internet connection and your internal network policy allows us to retrieve this information.

If you manually want to verify that you are running the latest release for your license, use our MangoldSoftwareManager and an INTERACT license key.

You can install our Software Manager on any Windows PC with a stable internet connection and update the software on the stick, without the need of transferring sensitive data to a computer that does have contact to the outside world, using a normal internet connection.

You can also just download the new installer with help of the Mangold Software Manager and transfer the software installation package to your coding stations if you prefer.

The Mangold SoftwareManager allows you to:

oCheck the license information of the current license key.
The Mangold SoftwareManager checks the service item on your stick and compares this information with our database, to make sure that your stick is programmed correctly - sometimes updates are purchased but the corresponding licenses never get updated by the customer, so they never get what they paid for.

oUpdate the Firmware of your license key, especially important for old keys to improve communication issues and to hold all new information required for the new license information.

oUpdate the license information programmed in your license key.
If a safe and stable connection can be build-up with our License Server, the license information is updated automatically.
Should no stable connection be possible, you need to send in a license request manually and wait for the new license information send by email.

oDownload and install the latest software version for the current license key. If the text 'Your service period is lapsed' is shown behind a product, you need to purchase an extension of the Premium Service Period, before you have access to the latest version. o(Re-)install any selected software package for the currently inserted license key.

oCreate a new installation CD for the latest version of all your software packages, to insert a current copy into your old, outdated original Mangold software package or to perform installations on a pool of computers.

Note: All downloaded installer are automatically stored inside ..:\Documents\MangoldSoftwareManager.
