Users with a license that is covered with the Premium Service Period are allowed to run the latest software version and any of the versions released BEFORE the expiration of that service period.
This license information is stored either on the License Key (dongle) or within the License Code that way used to activate your copy of INTERACT.
The moment an existing service period is extended, this information is entered into our online license database.
Before you can make use of the changes, your local license information must be updated.
If you run our software on a computer with internet access, the update is applied automatically the moment you start INTERACT or our Software Manager.
Once the local license information was updated, you can run the latest version of the the applicable software.

Update License Code
The local license information behind a License Code is updated automatically on the start of INTERACT while connected to the internet.
Update License Key
IMPORTANT: If you have already purchased your update, e.g. by extending your Premium Service Period, all sticks need to be reprogrammed.
Once that is done, the NEW SOFTWARE version can be installed!
Whenever a stable connection to our license server can be established, INTERACT 18 or up as well as our Software Manager verifies the license information on the stick and performs any available update automatically!
macOS
Because there is no software Manager for macOS users, all is handled by INTERACT itself:
▪Make sure your computer has a stable internet connection.
▪Start INTERACT and wait for the license information to be updated.
▪Download the latest version though the link on our website.
Windows Only
Our Software Manager offers downloads for all Mangold Software
▪Insert the license key
▪Start our Software Manager and wait for the license information to be updated.
▪Click Install / Update Software to download and install the latest version of the software, as is described in INTERACT for Windows.
If you are trying to Install/Update Software, and behind the software name a message about 'Your service period is lapsed' appears, you can only download the program version that matches your license. In this case you need to purchase and extension of the Premium Service Period of the attached license key, before you can download and install the latest version of your software:

Note: If the available downloads do not list a newer version as expected, send in a manual license request and inform us about the reason.
Update Software
Once the license information on the stick matches the purchased status, the Software Manager offers you the latest applicable software version for download.
Make sure you make a backup of you current installation, just in case - especially if you have used a much older version so far!

Old License Keys
If your license key (dongle) looks like this, the stick needs to be physically exchanged before you can update INTERACT:
Rainbow or Sentinell dongle (USB or parallel)
This stick is usually blue or violette.
WARNING: This dongle is NO LONGER supported. Updating a license based on this dongle type also requires the exchange of the license dongle itself!
