In this section we describe how to save an INTERACT document, so it can be used as a template for future sessions.

Note: A template can contain anything a data file can.

The most important reasons to create a template are:

oTo predefine a study-specific Code Archive

oCreate a DataSet structure for the various sessions

oAssign Independent Variables, with predefined value lists for easier and consequent identification

oPredefine Class columns in a specific order.

oFor training purposes or for time sampling-based studies, setup documents that contain predefined Events and/or DataSets.

oPredefine one of the other File properties.
