The most important information, required during the import routine, is the point of synchronization. Later adjustments are possible, if you notice the actual start point should be moved to the right on your time line.

If you are using a Mangold Lab, our VideoSyncPro recording station sends a signal to the physiology equipment the moment the video recording starts. This allows you, to start the import of your data from that specific Marker, which simplifies synchronization a lot.

IMPORTANT: In all other cases, you will need another precise synchronization activity that allows you to tie the video to your data.

One alternative approach is, to make sure that you can see the push or click that starts the physiology recording within your video. This scene can now be used for synchronization. Better yet, you create a peak or other significant signal, within your data recording, the exact moment the video recording starts.
