Per default, you do not hear the audio that will be recorded because that results in a deafening audio feedback loop between speakers and microphone(s) within seconds, if the recording system is located in the same room or the doors are open.
Note: To listen-in to the live-recording, it is best to use headphones instead of speakers, to eliminate the audio feedback loop.
To hear the audio for one or more audio and video sources:
▪Expand the Audio/Video dashboard panel.
▪Select the Speaker icon for source you want to hear.
Note: Per default, all camera sources receive the same audio, so it is not useful to activate the audio for all sources simultaneously. If your setup uses different mics per camera, the audio will differ, so activating all can be useful.
IMPORTANT: All integrated sources are recorded by default, independent of their state in this panel. It is possible to deactivate this default situation in the application settings.
