▪Start the Mangold Remote Observer.

The application automatically searches for available Mangold Recorder systems in the network.

If only one Mangold Recorder is found, the connection is established instantly - if enough licenses for remote connection are available - unless there is a password* issue.

If NO Mangold Recorder can be detected, the upcoming application window looks like this:

If you are sure there is a Mangold Recorder already running, read LabSuite Network Communication to adapt the required settings so that the device can be found.

If you started your Mangold Recorder AFTER you started the Mangold Remote Observer:

▪Click Find Available Recorders and wait until the network scan is completed.

In case there are multiple Mangold Recorders available:

▪Select the one you want to connect to from the drop-down list.

▪If required, enter a User name and maybe a password in the corresponding fields.

▪Click Connect to connect to the selected Recorder.

If a connection was established successfully, the Remote Observer might look like shown in the picture at the left.

Note: When connected to a VideoSyncPro Studio recorder, pay attention to the currently connected session:
Use the drop-down Session Selector at the bottom of the window to change the session.
