It is possible to import externally generated subtitle files into INTERACT.
The import routine will create a new INTERACT document, which can be merged with existing observations.
▪Select Start - File - Open 
>Import > Import WebVTT and SRT transcripts from the menu.
▪Select the *.srt or *.vtt file to be imported and confirm with OK.
The available data is converted into Events and a Class named 'Speaker' is created automatically for the new INTERACT document. If speaker information was available, it will be entered into that column. If not, each Event is labeled with Speaker = 'Unidentified'.
When multiple speakers spoke, adding real person ID's must be done manually per Event.
If only one speaker is available, the 'Unidentified' Code can be renamed with help of the Replace command.
