Export GSEQ SDS File

GSEQ (Generalized Sequential Querier) is a powerful program for analyzing sequential observational data in behavioral research fields including psychology, education, and human interaction studies. GSEQ 5, the current version, features an intuitive Windows interface and remains free for academic and research use.

Note: The software is only available for Windows.

GSEQ 5 is described in the following key publication:

Transfer INTERACT Data to GSEQ

GSEQ uses a special data format and INTERACT users can create the required SDS files directly from within INTERACT.

Select Start - Current Document - Export Btn_ExportDocument> Export GSEQ SDS Files from the menu.

Export-GSEQ-DSDfile

Click Add file name to session label, if that is what you want.

Click Add group name to session label, if that is what you want.

Add any number of Factors to your data, if needed.

Click Next at the bottom of the dialog:

Export-GSEQ-DSDfile-ClassNames

Edit any of the Class descriptions in the second column, if required.

Click Next at the bottom of the dialog:

Export-GSEQ-DSDfile-CodeNames

Click Convert at the bottom of the dialog.

Select a location and enter a comprehensive name for the exported SDS file.
