For analysis, we advise you to merge multiple data files of the same study. What merge routine you need depends on your file structure and required final structure.
Descriptive Statistics per Participant
Once your data is merged, you get an overview of all descriptive statistics in the Full Statistics Results that is available from within the Timeline Chart:
▪Select Analysis - Evaluation - Timeline Chart and select all Codes and all Sets in the two successively appearing dialogs.
▪Within the Timeline Chart window, click Full statistics or select Analysis - Full Statistics from its menu.
A table, with lines per DataSet, columns per Code, and separate tabs per value-type, appears. You see all descriptive results in a simple grid, split by Duration, Frequency, etc
Variable Rating per Activity
To analyze the rating per activity, the State-Space-Grid is a great possibility.
▪Choose Analysis - Dyadic - State-Space-Grid to start the routine.
•Select the DataSets (=participants) you want to include in the analysis.
The Space-State-Grid window (SSG) appears, showing the selected data on the 2D Grid tab.
▪Make sure you select the Activity class for one axis and one of your rated variables for the other axis.
The SSG chart now shows you the ratings for the selected variable per activity. Each Set (=participant) is displayed in a different color
