If you need to log Codes at a fixed interval, but are not interested in duration at all, you can create Marker-Events at a fixed interval:
▪Define the interval you need as you Step width in the Time control Settings as described in Pre-roll, Search Speed and Step width.
▪Setup Code Definitions without duration, to enter only time stamps.
▪Use your preferred Observation Mode to log new Events.
▪Position your video(s) at the first observation point.
▪Create your Event and enter your Code(s).
▪Pres CTRL+ARROW RIGHT* on the keyboard, to jump though your video at the predefined step width.
▪Log Events using the predefined Codes, like you would for Event-based logging.
Depending on the chosen coding method, you need to make sure that within your current Code definitions the setup is correct:
Standard (ad-hoc) - Clear the Dur (duration) selection for all of your Codes. |
Lexical (post-hoc) - Clear the option SPACEBAR is treated as a Code with duration. |
*) It is possible to adjust these shortcuts in the application settings.
